Jackson RC Racing.... 2018
Jackson Raceway 2018 Racing Season
For the 2018 summer racing season, Jackson RC is looking to introduce a new schedule, a free Traxxas 4TEC-e class (brushed)(4 car min.) and the continued success of TC spec-racing.
Jackson RC Raceway will now run all classes, including nitro on Sundays. Sunday will be our normal club race day, unless specified otherwise. We're looking to start the season on Sunday, April 22nd.
We are also instituting a new free class for the beginner/novice racer. This will be an out-of-the-box Traxxas 4Tec-e class (brushed). The only thing allowed to be changed is the Radio. All other requirements must be Traxxas stock parts, this includes body, battery, speedo, tires and wheels.
TC spec-racing is back. The Team Power 13.5T hand out motor and 5.0 FDR spec gearing specification will be used. The motors will be tuned, sealed, serial numbered. The number motors are handed out at random each race day and returned the same day. Each motor will also come with bullets. No more soldering week after week.
During pre-race inspection the motors will be checked for tampering and the spec gearing will be ensured.
There are two ways to get on-board with the Club Spec program:
Mode 1 - $47 Season Buy-in via (PayPal) or $45 at the track. PayPal funds to [email protected]
With a season Buy-in you'll have a motor always waiting for you, no matter if you show up or not for our regular racing program. At the end of the season you'll also receive one of the sealed motors that we all used throughout the season.
Mode 2 - $15 Daily Rental
We will have a limited number of rental motors available, so you will need to arrive early to reserve your rental. We hope after your first day of Club Spec racing you'll want to convert your Daily Rental fee into a Season Buy-in.
Finally... If you are to take a motor home, even if by mistake, you will now be the new owner of this motor. This is to prevent tampering with the motor to cause any advantage or disadvantage to yourself and other competitors. To continue participation within the class you must either start again with a Buy-in or Rental.
Touring Car tire will be the Team Powers 34R
They will be available at the track for purchase
Race fee’s for club race
$20.00
Each additional class $5.00

Phil, we ran USGT last year. That and TC Spec were the most popular classes.
